small things

Fanci shared her source of these great pearlized seashell drops on her blog here, my daughter was enamored with them (she loves seashells) and asked me please to buy some.  They remind me of retro blown glass Christmas ornaments in miniature. These earrings have a beautiful softness to them with a quiet glow that is hard to capture.

Sparrow and I have been talking about staying occupied and being diligent at work right now as life continues to  present new challenges.   My thoughts are with all of my Etsy friends on the East Coast who were weathering Irene.  I hope everyone is safe and ok.

  1. Quiet glow -- what a perfect connotation for these earrings! They are indeed glimmering and whispering in a kind of benign frailty. Boston was surviving the Irene alright -- no biggy, in fact. Few trees lost their limbs around my neighborhood. Best wishes to you, too. - m.
